There’s a wave of energy and excitement at the Jane Fonda Climate PAC. And you’re driving it.

Today, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your involvement with Jane PAC. Whether you’ve been able to contribute financially, volunteer with our candidates, or if you’ve just been keeping up-to-date with everything we’re up to on social media — your participation doesn’t go unnoticed.

If you’re wondering how your support directly helps us in the climate battle, let me share what we’ve been up to:

* Strategic Endorsements: This year, Jane PAC has directed resources (financial and otherwise) to more than a dozen candidates across key states like Texas, Arizona, California, Pennsylvania, and Oregon. And we’re far from finished.

* Candidate Victories: We've had some real wins to celebrate recently, especially in those crucial down-ballot races. Take, for example, the Salt River Project board in Arizona — our supported candidates are now in a prime position to push for sustainable energy practices. And that's not all! In California, we helped several climate champions at the state legislative level get through their primaries, and our endorsed candidate, Laura Friedman, even won her 15-person primary to replace Rep. Adam Schiff in a critical Los Angeles district for climate policy! Over in Pennsylvania, the PAC raised awareness about Rep. Summer Lee’s heated primary against a pro-fracking oily Democrat, and good news — she’s headed to the November general!

* Policy Initiatives: We are working around the clock to defeat a Big Oil-backed referendum that would reverse an important law that safeguards CA communities from oil drilling. We are actively mobilizing supporters, disseminating educational materials, and collaborating with other grassroots organizations to ensure this vital bill prevails in November.

And I’ve still got a lot of fight left in me 😉

The guys at Shell and ExxonMobil aren’t backing down; they’ve got yachts and private jets to pay for. They’re investing hundreds of millions of dollars to support candidates who will support their bottom line, all while our planet burns. But as history has taught me, we can defeat even the mightiest foes when we stay united.

Whether you’ve been with us from the start or are just getting involved, your support is invaluable. Every dollar — and every phone call made or door knocked — adds up. Let’s continue pushing for a future we can all be proud of.
