John, did you see what InStyle said about our campaign?
They recently ranked congressional campaigns that center their work on understanding the impact of Paid Family & Medical Leave on working people.
Our race to defend CT-05 was ranked No. 2 on their list.
John, there is no more impactful donation you can make to not only flip the House majority but get this legislation passed when we do. Chip in any amount to defend CT-05 >>
According to InStyle, “...there is one economic issue that families across the country are rallying behind: paid leave.”
John, this is not just a battleground House race. It is a test of our values.
My Republican opponent, George Logan, voted against creating a paid family and medical leave program when he was in the Connecticut State Senate. It is a position that is so out of touch with the daily struggles to afford childcare and choosing between a paycheck and caring for a sick child. We cannot have CT-05 represented by someone who would oppose such critical policies on a national scale.
In today’s world, the cost of living continues to rise while wages struggle to keep up. I understand what it’s like living paycheck to paycheck and being in an incredibly vulnerable position. The people of our district deserve a representative who understands that without federal protections too many families fall through the cracks.
John, that is why I’m asking you for your support today. We need to elect leaders who will push for policies like paid family leave and who prioritize families in their platforms and policies.
I will continue to be that leader in Congress, fighting for you and your family every step of the way.
But I cannot do that alone in CT-05. By donating today, you are not only investing in my campaign, but you are investing in the future of our country. Chip in $3 and be part of this vital movement for change.
