London Breed for Mayor
John,

Harvey Milk left an indelible mark on San Francisco and on the hearts of everyone fighting for a more inclusive world. Today, on Harvey Milk Day, we honor his legacy of trailblazing activism and recommit ourselves to the values he fought for: equality, courage, and hope.

This year's celebration has a special significance as we share some exciting news. A new $390 million bond measure proposed for the November ballot will provide $25 million towards the redevelopment of Harvey Milk Plaza in the Castro!

This investment will transform the plaza into a space that truly reflects Harvey's spirit – making it a vibrant, welcoming gateway to one of the most historically significant neighborhoods in our fight for LGBTQ+ rights.

The vision for the new Harvey Milk Plaza is about creating new and even greater gathering space in the Castro. This bond measure will provide critical resources for this project. Do you support the Mayor’s efforts to revive Harvey Milk Plaza?

YES

NO

By supporting this initiative, you are not just voting for a project, but for the continuation of a legacy that teaches us to stand up for what is right. Let's ensure that Harvey Milk Plaza becomes a place of inspiration, education, and reflection for generations to come.

Thank you for your passion and your commitment to keeping Harvey's dream alive. Let's honor his memory by making sure we continue to move forward, never backward.
