As the Trump trial in New York continues to dominate the news, we can’t help but reflect on the last Trump trial in New York — the one led by NY AG Tish James when former President Donald Trump, his sons Donald Trump, Jr. and Eric Trump, and his former executives were ordered to pay over $450 million.

It was a major win for everyone who believes that we must all play by the same rules — that no matter how big, how rich, or how powerful you are, no one is above the law.

Not even Donald Trump.

It’s thanks to New York AG Tish James that Trump was held accountable. This case would not have been possible without her work and the work of Dem AGs across the country working to bring wrongdoers to justice.
