Friends,
First, a little about me: I was born and raised here, served in the military, saw combat in Afghanistan, and returned home after retiring from the Joint Staff.
I voted first mainly for Republicans and finally as a staunchly independent voter. I looked for candidates based on these criteria: wisdom, knowledge and experience, compassion, charisma and positivity, and, above all, integrity, which is the military's first Core Value.
It's hard to find a candidate who embodies them all, but Dr. Bob does. I first met him at a town hall meeting back in 2020. I critiqued everything he said, found the chance to speak with him afterward, and, over time, realized that he had met all of the above.
Dr. Lorinser has deep roots in our community, evident in his lifelong actions. He has lived here for over thirty years, serving as a dedicated physician for our families. Unlike other candidates who only claim to be from here or moved here just before running for office, Dr. Lorinser and his family are true Yoopers who understand our unique way of life and the challenges we face.
Dr. Lorinser's campaign is fueled by grassroots support. He doesn't rely on large corporate donations or dark money. Instead, he humbly asks for our contributions, making us the primary funding source for his campaign.
This ensures that he remains independent and accountable only to us, the residents of the First District.
As for all other candidates, scrutinize their backgrounds, including residency in our district, employment, and the
origins of their campaign contributions. I'm sure you'll see Dr. Bob is far above all others. I know he will make us proud as our representative in Congress. As a matter of fact, I guarantee it.
