Friend, this week will mark two years since the third deadliest school shooting in America at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX.

Two years since 19 children and two of their teachers were violently killed in a spray of bullets from an AR-15.

Two years of mourning for survivors and the second of many years of grief after unimaginable tragedy. 

But even after these past few years of heartbreak and trauma, Congress has still refused to reinstate the assault weapons ban that could have prevented this horrific tragedy. Here at Brady, we will not accept that this is simply the way things have to be. And we're counting on you to join us. There have been more than 100 school shootings since Uvalde. That’s what complacency gets us – without action, it is just a matter of time until another gunman with an assault weapon enters a school. There were more school shootings in 2022 than any year prior — and then 2023 set a new record. Will 2024 continue this terrible trend?
