Friend, the USPS is critical in supporting American lives and livelihoods, delivering everything from medications to packages and paychecks. And yet, in the past few years, the USPS has been plagued with problems – facing record lags in delivery times nationwide.

Postmaster General DeJoy and the USPS Board of Governors have proposed changes to the USPS to help remedy these problems, like pushing processing operations away from city centers and leaving mail in postal centers overnight for “optimized collection.” But there are concerns that these efforts will only slow down the USPS even more.

That’s why this is such big news: Sen. Gary Peters has just secured a commitment from the Postmaster General to pause these changes, ensuring the smooth operation of the USPS nationwide. This achievement highlights Sen. Peters' continued commitment to improving the USPS so that Americans know they can count on the USPS to serve them for generations to come.

Gary Peters is continuing to keep a close eye on the USPS's performance to make sure that it’s running seamlessly for consumers like you. That's why we've hand-selected you to participate in a live USPS poll and rate the Postal Service’s performance. Please, friend, will you respond before our midnight deadline?
