Your elected official does not need to be on this list in order for you to take action! Please click here to tell your Representative and Senators to ban Delta-8 THC ([link removed]) . You can still have your voice heard even if your member of Congress is not on the House Agriculture Committee.
As you may know, in the 2018 Farm Bill, Congress legalized hemp and any hemp-derived products. This legislation inadvertently authorized the sale of Delta-8 THC and other harmful hemp-derived compounds. Delta-8 THC, much like its counterpart Delta-9 THC found in traditional marijuana, is addictive, intoxicating, and psychoactive. These products are being marketed to our youth using enticing flavors and are readily available for purchase in gas stations and convenience stores across the country.
We cannot stand idly by while these harmful substances continue to endanger the well-being of our children and communities. That is why we are calling on you to take action today:[link removed] Congress to close the Delta-8 loophole. ([link removed])
As always, thank you for all of your hard work and support.
Sincerely,
Dr. Kevin Sabet
President & CEO
