Honestly, John, for most of us on this team, it’s not the first race we’ve worked on — which means we know how special this campaign is.

It’s not just that, as an LGBTQ+ Native American who was raised by a single mom, worked her own way through school, and used to be a professional MMA fighter — and flipped a GOP-held seat — Sharice broke through a ton of barriers to get to Congress.

It’s not even that she’s Kansas’ only elected Democratic representative in Washington.

It’s that despite the incredible chaos and dysfunction of D.C., Sharice has delivered real results for all of us: lower drug costs for seniors, good-paying clean-energy jobs in our district, bipartisan action to reduce gun violence, and long-overdue support for farmers and ranchers. The list keeps going.

So today, we’d love to show Sharice how much she’s appreciated (while also, yes, giving her campaign a boost, because she’s truly in one tough re-election fight.)
