It's horrifying but true: there are people out there who really thing this - and even worse, many of them are currently elected officials. And they're hell-bent on passing bills that ban Pride Month, attack LGBTQ+ kids and strip away our rights.
We're not being alarmist. The Supreme Court has shown they won't be protecting the right to choose OR the right to privacy. If we're going to stop legally-enshrined hatred, we must reelect our vulnerable incumbents in the U.S. House - including Angie Craig, Sharice Davids, Chris Pappas and Eric Sorensen - and elect a new slate of historic LGBTQ+ leaders at all levels of government.
LGBTQ+ state legislators are our rainbow firewall against anti-trans and anti-LGBTQ bills in Kansas, Florida, Georgia Nebraska and so many more. Candidates sitting on city councils, school boards and in mayor's offices are standing up for LGBTQ+ equality and receiving death threats for their handwork!
