In a war to save lives and our country, we must fight with all the weapons we have at hand. That means freeing up the supply of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and giving patients the right to try.
Physicians should be free to prescribe HCQ free of politicians' and bureaucrats' second-guessing and threats. It's time to end the logjam of 30 million tablets of HCQ for early use with COVID-19 patients. I'm organizing a letter to President Trump to:
Remove FDA restrictions so HCQ can be used early on an out-patient basis
Prohibit states from disciplining doctors for using it

Absentee Ballot Investigation
USPS
There have been troubling reports of failures with the USPS that may have disenfranchised many Wisconsin voters. In one case, tubs of absentee ballots were discovered in the U.S. Postal Service's Milwaukee processing center after polls closed on Tuesday, April 7.
Senator Baldwin and I requested the USPS Inspector General start a prompt investigation.

Declassified Information Shows FBI Ignored Early Warning Signs
Declassified footnotes the Justice Department Inspector General report into the Crossfire Hurricane investigation of the Trump campaign show that federal investigators received classified reports in 2017 identifying key pieces of the Steele dossier as products of a Russian disinformation campaign. This might be only the tip of the iceberg, because other recently-declassified information demonstrates that even more disinformation may have been planted in Christopher Steele's reporting.
Let that sink in. The FBI knew that at least some of its evidence against the Trump campaign, and maybe more, was likely part of a Russian disinformation campaignâevidence from a source that was âcentral and essentialâ for getting the first FISA warrant.

Help for Dairy Farmers
dairy cows
Wisconsin's dairy industry was already in crisis, and now the coronavirus has had a devasting effect on supply chains for dairy products, forcing some producers to resort to milk dumping. I've joined my colleagues in asking the USDA for help in these three areas:
Incentives for Wisconsin cheese and dairy product purchases;
Stabilize the supply chain with money and technical assistance;
Prevent farm closures from coronavirus by re-opening the Dairy Margin Coverage program.
