Hello Friends --
This is no doubt a tough time for our country and our state and our region.
Like you, I’m doing my part and staying at home with Lacey and the boys -- but I'm still fighting for our workers, our farmers, our small businesses, and our communtiities.
Since this crisis began, I've held four telephone town halls to discuss the crisis directly with residents from all over the district. If you missed our town hall this past Thursday, click here for a recap from WKTV.
I also hope you'll read this article from the Daily Gazette where I discuss the federal stimulus package and how it will help our local communities.
But what I'm doing isn't nearly as important as what you all are doing.
Friends, I believe it's love that will conquer COVID-19.
In a crisis like this, we must all continue to practice compassion and understanding. We must tap into the human connection, grounded in our shared capacity to love one another.
And you all are showing that, together, we're stronger than this virus. Please take a moment to read and share the positive, loving stories I've included at the bottom of this email.
They will make you smile.
With love,
Antonio Delgado
