John — Earlier this month, we told you about a private fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago where Donald Trump promised to undo President Biden’s climate policies in exchange for one billion dollars from fossil fuel executives. Well, tomorrow, two Texas oil billionaires, Harold Hamm, “the Fracking King” and Kelcy Warren, the tycoon behind the Dakota Access Pipeline, are making good on that deal by throwing a massive fundraiser for Trump in Texas. These men are selling out our planet and our children’s futures, and they think we won’t fight back. Sometimes it’s difficult to wrap your head around the titanic greed and depravity of the billionaires who are willing to sacrifice our collective future to add another zero to their net worths. When will enough be enough for them? The sad answer: There is no “enough” for them. Their lust for money is insatiable and threatens life as we know it. But our movement is strong. We’ve already brought the fight to their backyard by helping propel Jane PAC-endorsed candidates like Reps. Greg Casar and Jasmine Crockett to victory in Texas in 2022.
