Team,
If there’s anything I know about Southern California, it’s that we are one of the most diverse and culturally rich communities in the country.
This month, we are not just celebrating, but truly honoring Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage, a heritage that has deeply and positively impacted our community!
We have one of the largest and most vibrant AANHPI communities right here in California. Their contributions to our history, culture, and success can not be overstated.
As an associate member of the Congressional Asian-Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC), I pledge to thoughtfully represent and advocate for this community. While anti-Asian hate crimes and prejudice of all groups are on the rise, it has never been more important to stand strong and fight for justice.
In the face of adversity, let us not only celebrate the unique and inspiring strength, resilience, and unity of AANHPI Heritage this May but also commit to standing against the hate and prejudice these communities experience. Together, let’s champion inclusivity, understanding, and support for ALL.
Sincerely,
Linda Sánchez
