John,
In an ad buy last week, AIPAC’s super PAC spent about $2 million to flood the airwaves attacking Rep. Jamaal Bowman, who’s an outspoken advocate for Palestinians’ human rights.
The anti-Palestinian group is planning to spend $20 million to try to unseat Jamaal Bowman in his fast-approaching June 25th Democratic primary re-election to Congress.
Funded primarily by far-right billionaires, AIPAC keeps trying to bring down progressive and working class candidates of color like Jamaal Bowman, who rely on grassroots donations rather than corporate PAC money.
Jamaal is the first Black person to represent his district. Meanwhile, his handpicked-by-AIPAC opponent is spreading racist and Islamophobic lies about Jamaal, and encouraging Republicans to switch parties to vote in the Democratic primary election.
We can’t let Republicans buy Democratic elections, and we need to keep strong advocates for human rights like Jamaal in Congress.
Can you chip in today to my and Rep. Jamaal Bowman’s re-election campaigns, so we can stay in Congress fighting to expand human rights for all, including pushing for Black and Palestinian liberation?
AIPAC undermines our democracy, including by endorsing insurrectionist Congresspeople who voted to overturn 2020’s election results.
As one of Jamaal’s campaign advisors noted, the attempt “to unseat Jamaal Bowman is heavily funded by the same Republican mega-donors who’ve spent millions to elect Donald Trump.”
Meanwhile, Jamaal is one of the strongest progressives in Congress. He is unafraid to push for the transformational policies that our communities deserve, and he understands that our basic human needs should not be treated as commodities for profit.
I’ve been proud to cosponsor Jamaal’s bills to support Black history education programs, to make a Green New Deal for public schools, to stop the racist and antisemitic “great replacement theory,” and more. Together, we’ve introduced legislation to pay musicians fairly and to secure the human right to utilities such as water and electricity.
I need Jamaal Bowman by my side in Congress, especially as too many of our colleagues continue neglecting our communities’ needs while sending billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars to bomb Gaza. Like me, Jamaal doesn’t take any money from corporate PACs, instead relying on grassroots donations.
Please chip in to my and Jamaal Bowman’s re-election campaigns today so we can withstand AIPAC’s attacks and stay in Congress building a multi-racial democracy where everyone can thrive.

John,
AIPAC is planning to spend $20 million against Jamaal Bowman in the next month.
The anti-Palestinian group’s super PAC just spent $2 million for one week’s worth of attack ads targeting Jamaal, who has been an outspoken leader for Palestinians’ human rights. Jamaal joined me early on in demanding a permanent ceasefire. He recognizes that the U.S. government is complicit in genocide, and he’s working to stop it.
With Jamaal’s re-election about a month away, MAGA Republican mega-donors are dropping millions to support his opponent through AIPAC.
AIPAC recruited Jamaal’s anti-ceasefire opponent, and has even encouraged Republicans to register as Democrats in order to vote for Jamaal’s opponent—carrying out a pattern of interfering in Democratic primaries to take down Black and brown progressives.
Can you split a donation today between my and Rep. Jamaal Bowman’s re-election campaigns so we can withstand AIPAC’s attacks? Jamaal’s primary is just a few weeks away!
In 2022’s midterm elections, AIPAC and its network of PACs spent $40 million against Black and brown progressives, with most of the funds coming from Trump-supporting GOP mega-donors.
AIPAC also endorsed more than 100 insurrectionist members of Congress who voted to overturn 2020’s election. These anti-democratic legislators are trying to censor discussions of racism in schools and ban diversity initiatives in public education.
Meanwhile, Rep. Jamaal Bowman has introduced urgent legislation to support African American history education, and he’s bringing us closer to a multi-racial democracy where we all have equal rights protected by the government.
For years, Jamaal has called to condition U.S. funding for Israel’s military based on Palestinians’ human rights. After visiting my grandmother in the West Bank, he compared Palestinians’ lives under Israeli military control to his experience with racist U.S. police targeting Black people like him.
Jamaal and I understand that marginalized people’s struggles are intertwined, and we want to make our government work for all of us—not just the privileged few. Instead of voting to send billions of American taxpayer dollars to Israel’s apartheid regime, Jamaal is pushing to invest in our communities’ needs, like public education and utility services.
Since he’s up against billionaires who’ll spend a lot to continue the unjust status quo, Jamaal needs support from our grassroots movement between now and his state’s June 25th Democratic primary election.
Can you chip in today to re-elect Jamaal Bowman to Congress so he can keep leading on human rights for Palestinians and for all people? Let’s send the message that we won’t let Republican donors buy Democratic elections.
