Hey John,
This will be one of the longest emails you’ll get from me, but I promise it’s important.
My team and I are working overtime to ensure that Upper and Northern Michiganders get the representation they deserve in Congress. Our race is picking up speed, and we wanted to keep you all informed about our work on the ground.

Step One: Organize
National experts are calling Michigan a key battleground state, meaning that Michigan will play a role in protecting our democracy, supporting our middle and working classes, and building a future for our kids.
With recent polling indicating that Jack Bergman’s extremist views are out of step with Upper and Northern Michigan, we have to make sure every single voter in our district hears our message. That takes connecting with voters across our district, running ads, and ensuring folks have what they need to go to the ballot box in November. And doing that…takes grassroots support.
Step Two: Put people first
This campaign is powered by people like you. I don’t come from money or a political dynasty. Unlike Jack Bergman, I was born and raised in Upper and Northern Michigan. I know this district like the back of my hand, and I’m prepared to advocate for folks in MI-01.
Step Three: Focus on the Issues that Matter
We need leaders committed to practical, bipartisan solutions rather than political extremes. Partisan infighting continues to stall critical legislation, and rural communities like ours often get the short end of the stick. We know that not working together isn’t an option. I meet people all around the district who are working on bringing resources, jobs, and good ideas our way. We just need a seat in Congress to get them there.
I’m committed to strengthening the middle class, defending our democracy, advocating for our veterans and military families, and protecting women’s healthcare. From here for here has become my motto, and I don’t plan on abandoning it.
