Friends,
No one should be winning votes by suggesting we should deport 15 million immigrants, crash our workforce, destroy families, and create food shortages. We must reject threats to Medicare or Social Security, and no one's campaign strategy should be to promise windfall tax cuts to billionaires in exchange for campaign contributions.
Furthermore, criminalizing reproductive healthcare isn't the way to win over the constituency, and we cannot ignore the plight of the youth who are losing hope to buy a home, save for retirement, pay for their education, or put food on the table.
My Trump-republican opponent is on board with all of this junk. So, Rep. Bergman, we have to ask - is this the "reich" you really want to be part of?
As I see it, Northern Michigan and the UP has different plans. We need family-sustaining jobs, better wages, universal healthcare, women's rights, and clean drinking water and air.
Our citizens want to be able to afford rent, buy groceries, and pay their bills.
We desire connectivity—broadband, better infrastructure, schools, childcare, and reliable, sustainable energy.
I've had it with division and chaos because, clearly, we have way too much work to do.
Thank you for your support in this fight to maintain a positive campaign focused on the issues that hardworking people care about.
-Bob
