Dear Friend,

The invasion of Rafah continues to escalate suffering, hunger and destruction for the children and families in Gaza. However, our teams on the ground remain dedicated to providing compassionate care and HOPE to as many people as we can.

An estimated 140,000 people fled Rafah last week, putting an enormous strain on areas that have already been devastated by bombings. Our clinic in Dier al Balah saw an influx of patients from Rafah in urgent need of care for blast injuries, infectious diseases and pregnancy. Thousands of families are living in fear every day as they struggle to survive this displacement.

The need for aid is not only growing in Gaza, but also in communities around the world like Ukraine and Haiti. That’s why we’ve launched the 2024 Power of HOPE Matching Gift Challenge.
