Friend of Trust for Public Land,

I want to share some exciting news with you. Thanks to the collective
efforts of advocates like you over the past weeks leading up to our
recent Day on the Hill in Washington, DC, 12 more elected officials
cosponsored the Outdoors for All Act. This critical legislation will
allocate funding to create and enhance outdoor recreational
opportunities across the country, particularly in communities with
limited outdoor access.

We need your help to move the needle and garner support from your
senators so we can get this legislation over the finish
line.

Will you send a letter to your senators today to support the Outdoors
for All Act?

We've made significant strides, but the data shows that our
work is far from over. TPL's ParkScore report, which
launches tomorrow, demonstrates just how vital parks are to the
strengthening community. In a time of increased social isolation,
parks are among the last public spaces where people can gather and
connect. Yet one-third of Americans-including 28 million
children-lack access to a park within a 10-minute walk of
home.

Urge your senators to cosponsor the Outdoors for All Act (S.448) today
to ensure healthier, better-connected, and more resilient communities
across the country.

The Outdoors for All Act will-for the first time-extend
funding to Native American nations, Indigenous communities, and rural
communities. This inclusive approach aims to make hundreds more cities
and towns eligible, helping address gaps in park access across the
country.

Friend, thank you for taking action to increase
access to the outdoors. Together, we can connect more people across
the country to the benefits of nature.

Yours in conservation,

Myke Bybee
