What does this seminar cover?

This seminar includes information on:

  • Worker status (independent contractor vs. employee)
  • Withholding tax basics (withholding, depositing, and reporting)
  • Unemployment Insurance (tax rates, wage reporting, and managing your UI cost)
  • Workers? Compensation requirements (full-day only)

Who should attend?

Business owners, tax and payroll professionals, bookkeepers, and accountants.

Can I receive continuing education credit for attending?

Yes. The Unemployment Insurance (UI) program offers Professional Development Credits (PDCs). You may request credit from UI program representatives on the course evaluation form.
