May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
Dear Friend ,
Did you know people with diabetes are two to three times more likely
to have depression than those without diabetes? This Mental Health
Awareness Month, the American Diabetes Association® is actively
working to address some of the day-to-day mental challenges of people
living with diabetes by:
* Supporting national, local, and grassroots advocacy efforts
* Addressing health care disparities to ensure equitable access
for all
* Fighting for insulin affordability and other financial burdens
* Helping combat discrimination
* Providing resources to aid with diabetes management, care, and
prevention
* Funding critical research to find a cure
Your contribution will not only make a profound difference, it will
contribute to the broader goal of creating a world where no one
has to face these challenges alone. Will you give today?
