One of my favorite parts of running for Congress is conversations with voters. This week on the doors, an elderly man said: “I’ve already voted for you. The awful attacks are appalling. With all the divisiveness, we need leaders who bring us together. That’s you.”

Another supporter, focused on winning the general election, said: “Anyone who thinks your primary opponent has a shot at winning in November clearly doesn’t understand this district. You’re the one to do it.”

My appreciation to those who know the district and what’s at stake in this primary. I'm humbly asking for your vote, and as reminder, you have until 8 PM tonight to turn in your ballot.
