There are many challenges we're facing in the Iowa Senate, thanks to Iowa Republicans who refuse to pass substantive policies that truly give a better deal to all Iowans.

In reality, Iowa Republicans are spending more time restricting freedoms than expanding opportunities for our state. 

This needs to change, John, especially if we want our children, our families, and hardworking Iowans to have better opportunities.

Our role as legislators is to represent the people and find ways to better our communities – not do the opposite. 

John, the absence of a Democratic chamber in Iowa must end, especially if we want to make real change happen in our state.

But to make this a reality, I need your help.
