North Carolina General Assembly

ENSURING RELIGIOUS FREEDOM & FREE SPEECH

I'm proud to have co-sponsored the SHALOM Act, which passed the North Carolina House last week. This legislation will equip our state with a clear definition of antisemitism, helping to effectively identify and address related crimes while safeguarding the constitutional right of free speech.

SUPPORTING MILITARY & VETERANS

We recently attended the Military Missions in Action Gala at the Fair Barn in Pinehurst, NC — located just outside of the district. Special thank you to executive director Greg Gebhardt for coordinating this special event and leading such an impactful organization that supports veterans all across North Carolina. Freedom isn’t free, and we’re grateful to all who have served our country.

UNC STUDENTS STANDING UP TO HONOR FLAG

Earlier this month at UNC Chapel Hill, pro-Hamas protestors took down the American flag and replaced it with the Palestinian flag. Our Republican-led supermajority at the North Carolina General Assembly has been steadfast in our commitment to maintain low taxes and eliminate unnecessary spending within state government. Our dedication is reflected in the latest economic report, which reveals a remarkable $1 billion surplus, signaling robust economic vitality. This surplus is a clear testament to the effectiveness of our policies, so it's no surprise that so many families and businesses are choosing to call North Carolina home.

MOSS NAMED "DEFENDER OF PUBLIC SAFETY" BY NC SHERIFFS ASSOCIATION

I am immensely grateful and honored to receive the 'Defender of Public Safety' award from the NC Sheriffs' Association. Supporting law enforcement and sheriff’s offices has always been a priority for me, and I remain steadfast in my commitment to backing the blue to ensure public safety.

VISITING AG INNOVATION CENTER IN ELLERBE

We recently visited the Food Hub at the Sandhills AGInnovation Center in Ellerbe, NC. This organization supports farmers and expands the local economy by offering food businesses training; shared-used farm equipment; processing, aggregation, and storage facilities; and connections to new markets. Food doesn’t come from grocery stores, it comes from our farmers. I’m proud to support the advancement of our local agriculture industry.
