Canceling domestic abusers--or pro-lifers? John, After years of its star players getting arrested for assault, battery, and domestic violence, the NFL is finally taking a stand... ...against a Catholic married kicker with no criminal record? Harrison Butker's talk has drawn much praise and criticism. Overall, his talk was very good, and while I would have worded a few things differently given the context, the backlash has been absurd. I recently joined Fox News to question why America's most popular sports league decided to attack a player who teared up discussing his love for his wife and challenged men to be good husbands and fathers: To watch the video, click the image or visit: youtube.com/watch?v=e2vVMmr_WsM At a time when university students are openly calling for the extermination of Jews on college campuses around the world, it's absolutely absurd to bash a Catholic speaker for sharing a Catholic message at a Catholic school. Perhaps the outrageous response to Butker's talk is the last gasp of a dying woke movement. Prominent pro-choicers admitting abortion is murder, the emerging backlash against the "pride" movement, and the abortion industry's struggles in blue states all indicate that the excesses of the far left are backfiring. Even the best football teams lose a game or two, but God is undefeated.
