In response to a recent feature from the Wisconsin State Journal highlighting the work of WILL Deputy Counsel, Luke Berg... one Madison resident wrote the following in a letter to the editor:

"I have a great deal of respect for Berg and his fellow lawyers at the Wisconsin Institute of Law and Liberty. Madison and the country would be in far better shape if we moved beyond stereotypes and got to know and understand people on the 'other side'."

She went on to say...

"Though I don't hold the same policy opinions on a number of subjects, I subscribe to WILL's newsletter and have learned a lot. Fundamentally, the group seeks to uphold the Constitution. As a progressive liberal, I encourage more people to follow their work and recognize the value in it, and the values we hold in common."
