Friends,
During this public health crisis, it's more important than ever that we step forward to support our vulnerable neighbors and frontline workers by helping them find Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like face shields and other lifesaving devices they need to stay safe.
I'm so proud that our community formed the PPE Resource Network, via the Berks County Community Foundation, to help Pennsylvania frontline workers battle the COVID-19 outbreak. This innovative non-profit uses 3D-printers to make face shields at zero cost.
Right now, the Berks County PPE Resource Network could use your support to ensure its volunteers can print more PPE and get these resources to workers fighting on the front lines of the coronavirus outbreak. So, friends, I'm asking you to consider a donation to the PPE Resource Network today to support our vulnerable communities during this unprecedented crisis:
If you are financially able, please click here to make a donation to the PPE Resource Network that enables it to keep 3D-printing PPE? Please fill in "Science Research Institute Fund" as the fund name to make sure your gift gets to the right place.

Counties and organizations across the country are looking to the ingenuity and agility exhibited by the PPE Resource Network for inspiration on the best ways to help their own communities get the PPE they need in these trying times.
Our frontline workers are our last defense in containing the spread of coronavirus and in keeping our communities healthy – we can't fail them when they need support to get through this crisis.
In these uncertain times, I'm here for you, and lifting up people and organizations that are here for us. We're in this together.
Thank you for your vigilance, your compassion, and your commitment to keeping our community safe. More soon.
– Chrissy
