CHEYENNE ? Celebrate Wyoming?s five-star fisheries this year by fishing without a license ? for free. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department invites anglers to celebrate Free Fishing Day on June 1. [ [link removed] ]*Each year Game and Fish designates the first Saturday of National Boating and Fishing Week as a free fishing day when anyone can fish in Wyoming ? except within the Wind River Reservation and Yellowstone National Park? ?? without a fishing license. *Wildlife health lab tests more than 5,000 CWD samples in 2023*

LARAMIE ? The Wyoming Game and Fish Department?s Wildlife Health Laboratory tested 5,100 samples from big game animals for chronic wasting disease in 2023. *Testing was completed earlier this year and samples were submitted from throughout the state.
