2024 is the year we stand up for justice and democracy. Simple.
The principle that "no one is above the law" is a cornerstone of American
democracy. But right now, this principle is being put to the test by
Donald Trump.
Trump is facing countless charges and court appearances, breaking gag
orders, mocking and intimidating judges, spreading lies, and disrespecting
our entire judicial system. And yet, he may very well be the next
president.

who supports him: No one is above the law!

We are a nation of laws, and no person is king. There cannot be one
justice system for everyday people and another for the rich and powerful.
These are fundamental building blocks on which our entire democracy rests.
If we allow our leaders to turn our judicial system into a joke then our
whole nation becomes a punchline.
Democracy demands accountability. State and federal authorities must act
swiftly to hold Trump accountable for his crimes and other attacks on our
democracy and elections. We must make it clear that no one, not even a
former president, is above the law.
