After all of the Israeli military’s atrocities in Gaza, the International Criminal Court just announced it’s seeking an arrest warrant for Netanyahu. It’s exactly what should happen to leaders who break international humanitarian law. And this is why President Biden and Congress should cease all military support for Israel.
But even as Netanyahu breaks the law and vows to ramp up its attacks in Gaza, Biden and our elected leaders in Congress keep sending support to Netanyahu.

Over 35,000 Palestinians have been killed by Netanyahu’s onslaught in Gaza. 200 aid workers have been killed. Over a million people face starvation. All due to Israel’s violence and blockade of humanitarian aid. This is what the United States is supporting when it sends money and bombs to Netanyahu.
Just last week, President Biden announced another $1 billion weapons sale to Israel. How can our elected officials let this moral failure of leadership continue after eight months? Does anything change for Biden and Congress now that Netanyahu, along with the Israeli Defense minister and top Hamas leaders, could be charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity at the ICC?
There are no more excuses. The only way forward is an immediate, diplomatic peace, and an end to U.S. complicity in Netanyahu’s atrocities.
