“We know this is a difficult time for all Americans, and we want your safety and that of your loved ones to come first. We understand if you are unable to contribute, we want you on our team no matter what. Thank you!” John, I want to be as transparent as possible with our campaign — in our highs and lows. That means letting you know when things aren’t going well. Right now, it’s bad. As of today, we’re having an awful fundraising month. We’ve raised only $3,971 total. With our basic operational budget of $17,000 per month, we aren’t going to raise enough to stay afloat. Our team is working hard every single day to bring real change to Arizona’s First District. We are busy calling voters, holding virtual town halls, training remote volunteers, and so much more. We’ve had a bad month before — last October. I was not sure how we were going to stay operational but then you stepped up and helped us meet that challenge. I need you again. If your capacity allows you to contribute $390, it would make a big difference, but any amount — $3.90, $39, or $390 — would help tremendously. Without fundraising the minimum we need, we won’t be able to cover our basic expenses. That leads to making tough decisions I don’t want to make. Thank you for being in this fight with me. Eva
