How closely are you watching the 2024 election?

A handful of swing states will decide the presidential election, and many of those states with large rural populations – like Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina – will be decided by razor thin margins, or by the whims of a spoiler third-party candidate.

By the end of this election, Donald Trump may be the President-elect for a second time. He'll surely gloat, strut, and rub his minoritarian victory in America's face. But it's not that he'll win, it's that spoiler candidates could simply make everyone else lose.

We all remember 2000 – when a single third-party candidate handed us a Bush administration – and if we don't start working right now to educate voters about what a third-party vote means, we'll see history repeat itself.
