I knew when we introduced these bills last year that we were going to face immense opposition just because we wanted to put safeguards in place to protect our youth from the harms caused by social media. The very same big social media behemoths who make billions and billions of dollars keeping our eyes - and the eyes of our children - glued to their apps are now using their profits to spread lies and stop our progress.? ? Please chip in what you can to help us fight back and get these bills across the finish line. Together we are stronger than their deep pockets and we are going to pass first in the national legislation to keep our kids safe online. |
