The Divider In Chief

Joe Biden doesn’t seem to like America all that much. The man who claimed he wanted to unite the country just gave a speech that did nothing but trash the country and inflame racial tensions.

Biden gave the commencement speech yesterday at Morehouse College, a historically black college located in Atlanta, Georgia. It has a long list of distinguished alumni that includes congressmen and cabinet secretaries, as well as notable figures like Herman Cain, Samuel L. Jackson, and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Biden could have delivered an inspirational address that pointed to the success of any of those men. He could have extolled Reverend King’s dream of a country united around the promise of America and Judeo-Christian values.

But he didn’t do that. He used this historic venue to give an angry, divisive, race baiting speech that attacked America. He repeated the lie of the left that America is “systemically racist,” saying:

“You started college just as George Floyd was murdered, and there was a reckoning on race. It’s natural to wonder if the ‘democracy’ you hear about actually works for you. What is democracy? That Black men are being killed in the street.”

He took an isolated incident that had nothing to do with race and exploited it to attack America and fan the flames of racial discord. That is not uniting the country. That is dividing the country.

Biden also blatantly lied about Georgia’s election integrity laws. Biden said, “Today in Georgia, they won’t allow water to be available to you while you wait in line to vote in an election. What in the hell is that all about?”

That is totally false. A federal judge upheld the provision of the Georgia law that bans all forms of campaigning or attempts to influence voters, including providing food and drink, within 150 feet of a polling location in order to prevent any last-minute “vote buying.”

The law also permits election officials to provide “self-service water from an unattended receptacle to [any voter] waiting in line to vote.” And no one is prohibited from bringing their own water while they wait in line.

Just another sad example of Joe Biden telling lies to divide and deceive.

One Less Tyrant

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi was killed yesterday when his helicopter crashed in bad weather. Globalists around the world rushed to offer their condolences and deepest sympathies. Dutch leader Geert Wilders, however, shot back at the European Union’s statement, saying, “Not in my name!” Good for him!

Raisi was an Islamic supremacist thug. He was known as the “Butcher of Tehran” for ordering the mass executions of political prisoners.

He was also a Holocaust denier who once told “60 Minutes” that while there were “some signs that [the Holocaust] happened, further research needs to be done to investigate it.”

In fact, Raisi’s hatred of Israel and the Jewish people was so well-known that he was widely considered the most likely successor to Iran’s anti-Semite in chief, Ayatollah Khamenei.

Not surprisingly, Hamas was particularly saddened to learn of Raisi’s death. In a statement, the terrorist group praised him for his “valuable support” in its war “against the Zionist entity.” That would be Israel.

International Outrage

The International Criminal Court (ICC) created international outrage today when its chief prosecutor announced he was seeking arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for alleged war crimes in Gaza.

The ICC prosecutor also submitted warrant applications for Hamas leaders Yahya Sinwar, Ismail Haniyeh, and Mohammed Deif, as if there was some moral equivalence between the state of Israel and the terrorists of Hamas.

Israel does not recognize the authority of the ICC, and neither does the United States. The reason is obvious. Globalist bureaucrats have no right to dictate how nations act in self-defense.

Congress even passed the 2002 American Servicemembers’ Protection Act to severely restrict America’s involvement with the ICC.

There is genocide taking place in communist China today. What is the ICC doing about that?

There is a brutal civil war going on in Sudan. What is the ICC doing about that?

Christians are being slaughtered in Nigeria. What is the ICC doing about that?

I don’t recall the ICC bringing Osama bin Laden to justice.

The ICC’s actions united Israeli leaders across the political spectrum. Israeli President Isaac Herzog of the Labor Party blasted the ICC’s move as “beyond outrageous” and “a political step that emboldens terrorists.”

Speaker of the Knesset Amir Ohana of the Likud Party denounced the ICC, saying:

“An institution that is incapable of differentiating between the aggressor and the defender, between a democracy that respects human rights [and] a terror organization dedicated to its destruction in the name of the ideals of radical Islam and murderous zealots, is a danger to humanity.”

Benny Gantz, widely seen as Netanyahu’s main political rival, called the warrant applications “a historic crime that will not be erased.”

The vast majority of Knesset members signed a joint statement today condemning the ICC. Here is the text of their statement:

“The state of Israel is in the midst of a just war against a criminal terror organization. The IDF is the most moral army in the world. Our heroic soldiers are fighting with courage and dedication that has no second, according to international law, like no other army has ever done.

“The scandalous comparison by the Hague prosecutor between Israel’s leaders and the heads of terror organizations is an unerasable historic crime and a clear expression of antisemitism. We reject this with revulsion. Eighty years after the Holocaust, no one will block the Jewish state from defending itself.”

Rubio Gets It Right

In an interview yesterday, Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) took a very strong stand against illegal immigration. You may recall that several years ago, he was part of the “Gang of Eight” senators who attempted to negotiate a massive amnesty bill.

“Meet The Press” host Kristen Welker framed the issue by asking Rubio if he really supported President Trump’s plan to “deport more than 11 million undocumented immigrants, and it would be the largest deportation plan in American history.” Rubio answered:

“Eleven million -- that was the number ten years ago. We’re talking upwards of 25 to 30 million. The answer to your question is yes. We cannot absorb 25, 30 million people who entered this country illegally. What country on earth would tolerate that? We don’t even know who most of these people are.”

Good for him! Sen. Rubio is a smart man and capable of learning better than most politicians.

Previously, what formed his worldview was the immigration experience of his family, the kind of hard-working people we want in America. But he has learned from Donald Trump that the good of the “melting pot” has been corrupted by the left into the great danger of uncontrolled open borders.

Rubio is absolutely right. We can’t have millions of people in our country we don’t know anything about. That’s insane! And no other country would tolerate it.
