As many of us recently celebrated and honored the mothers and caregivers in our lives, I couldn't help but think about mothers in Gaza.

Women who are going to extraordinary lengths necessary to keep their children safe from harm, and fed as best they can, as any mother or caregiver would do.

But bombs continue to fall. Children are being starved to death. Families are scrambling for survival.

In Gaza, 37 mothers have been killed, every day, since the beginning of the war in October.
