John, writing with good news in regard to two separate legal battles we've been fighting in Arizona:
1. A judge has ruled in our favor for ballot drop boxes to still be legal in the state of Arizona.
With this decision, Arizonans will be able to continue to use drop boxes as a voting method. This is especially important for members of our community who might not be able to vote in person on Election Day — like those who work unconventional hours, can't take off work to vote, or can't stand in line for long periods of time.
2. We defeated the RNC in a lawsuit over Arizona election laws that would have limited access to early voting ballots, unnecessarily burdened voters by requiring them to provide proof of citizenship, and purged voters who did not confirm citizenship within 35 days.
Our team has been hard at work in courts to fight to protect access to voting. These are major wins, John! These victories are an important step in combating attacks on voting rights.
Voto Latino is working constantly in battleground states to make sure our communities have voting access and show up at the polls. Will you donate now and help us continue this work?
