That’s how many votes we won by in 2022. Out of nearly 300,000 votes cast.

It’s a margin so narrow that we truly needed every single supporter, every single dollar, every single knocked door to get over the finish line.

It’s a margin so narrow we went to sleep on Election Night not knowing if we’d won or lost (and on the five nights after that).

It’s a margin so narrow that the MAGA extremists targeting this seat know that if they spend more money elevating their candidate this year — and get an earlier start attacking me — they’ve got a very real chance of flipping this seat.

But I refuse to let that happen. I’m not going to stand by and let the community I love have a far-right, anti-abortion extremist representing us in Congress. And I’m certainly not going to stand by and let our race here in Oregon be the one that gives Republicans the votes to pass a national abortion ban next year.

In a race this close, every single dollar counts. Can I count on you to make sure we have the resources to defend this battleground House district? It took an enormous grassroots push to win this race two years ago, and we’re going to have to work even harder this time around.
