Biden’s disdain for firearm ownership knows no bounds. After years of targeting law abiding citizens in our county, Biden is now attempting to restrict firearm and ammunition ownership in other countries.
Biden’s Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) has proposed a regulation that would prevent civilians in a list of 36 other countries from legally purchasing firearms or ammunition manufactured in America – all while trying to bankrupt American firearm manufacturers in the process.
All firearms from the U.S. are already marked with serial numbers. But this rule would increase compliance costs and lost revenue for manufacturers by forcing American firearm companies to adopt new export control classification numbers (ECCNs) as an additional way of tracking American firearms abroad. This is redundant since firearms are already marked with serial numbers that can be recorded and traced.
All of these restrictions are estimated to result in about a 7% reduction - or $40 million - of the current $600 million in U.S. firearm exports per year. Essentially crippling firearm manufacturers and which could eventually reduce your access to firearms and ammunition.
