CAPITOL CAMPUS UPDATE

Memorial Day events will bring crowds, noise to Capitol Campus

*Event & Location: *Two permitted events will bring crowds and noise to the Capitol Campus.


* A *Memorial Day Ceremony* will feature speakers, a military band, and honor guard. Estimated attendance is 200.
* The *Olympia Thunder Run* will bring motorcycles to the Capitol Campus. The event at the Vietnam Memorial will feature speeches, a bagpiper, and a bugler. Estimated attendance is 150.

*When:* 


* *Memorial Day Ceremony:* 10 a.m. to noon
* *Olympia Thunder Run:* Noon to 2p.m. Monday, May 27.

*Impacts:* Expect noise and an increase in vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Visitor parking on the South Diagonal will be closed until 2 p.m.
