Many transgender health bills came from a handful of far-right interest groups

John, anti-LGBTQ activists want you to believe they're leading a grassroots movement. They want people to think they're the ones that are standing up for kids - and that they have a majority of support from Americans.
But they're not telling the whole truth. Reporting by the Associated Press, Vice and more show that the many anti-LGBTQ bills are spread by just a handful of extremist groups. They feed these bills to select lawmakers, copy and pasting the bill's language across state lines. They give lawmakers false stories and fake testimonies about the "dangers" accepting of LGBTQ+ people and vilifying trans people. Then, they turn around to say they're a national movement, when the truth is the complete opposite!
These groups know the majority of Americans don't buy into their nonsense. We see the rejection of their hatred every election cycle, when more and more LGBTQ+ people win their campaigns. Every LGBTQ+ candidate we elect is PROOF that these bigots are full of it. That's why we have to keep working. Pitch in to elect more LGBTQ+ candidates and stand against this disgusting hate!
Polling shows that Americans are sick of anti-trans bills. They want their lawmakers to address ACTUAL issues, not waste time targeting LGBTQ+ people.
The best way to stop these harmful bills is to keep electing LGBTQ+ people and ensure trans people have an equal seat at the tables of power. Our candidates will repeal these horrific bills and change hearts and minds. Help us elect the next wave of LGBTQ+ game changers - pitch in today!
Thanks for having our backs,
