Friend, it's National Rescue Dog Day, and as the proud companion of a Buckeye State rescue dog, I'll take any chance I can get to share a photo of her.

Winnie isn't the only four-legged friend on Team Kaptur. Wendy's dog, Sport, and David's dog, Charlie, are also with us in our fight for transformative investments in our Heartland.

And even our furry friends have a stake in this election. Marcy's opponent voted to legalize puppy mills during his time in the Ohio House.

It's just one egregious example in his long record of putting special interests over working people and common sense policy. For the sake of Heartland communities and canines everywhere, we can't let a right-wing extremist win this seat.
