This week is the 50th EMS Week,

and we’re glad to be a part of it!

This year marks the 50th anniversary of EMS Week, a significant milestone in recognizing and celebrating the dedicated professionals who serve on the front lines of emergency medical services. Since its inception by President Gerald Ford in 1974, EMS Week has been a vital time to honor the commitment and bravery of paramedics, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), and other EMS personnel who provide critical care during emergencies.

EMS workers are often the first to arrive at the scene of accidents, medical crises, and natural disasters, where their expertise and swift actions can mean the difference between life and death. This week-long celebration serves as a reminder of their indispensable role in maintaining public health and safety.

We want to thank all of the EMS Professionals who are a part

of the STOP THE BLEED® campaign.

We have thousands of EMS Professionals providing

STOP THE BLEED® training to members of their community and spreading the word about the importance of this campaign.

We couldn’t do it without you!

Each year STOP THE BLEED® Day falls on the Thursday of EMS Week, which means we are THREE DAYS OUT from this year’s STOP THE BLEED® Day on May 23, 2024!

If you are an EMS Professional involved in the STOP THE BLEED® campaign, make sure to #RaiseYourHand across your social media platforms this Thursday and let us know why STOP THE BLEED® is important to you!
