The national media is starting to realize something we’ve known for a while now: the race for Michigan’s open Senate seat is going to be one of the most competitive and impactful elections anywhere in the country this November.

But reporters at the Associated Press aren’t the only ones paying attention to our  race — National Republicans are starting to get involved.

In the last month alone, we’ve seen attack ads about Elissa on door hangers, Facebook, and TV.

And this is just the start.
