I hope this email finds you safe and well.
With an end to nationwide school closings and stay-at-home
orders nowhere in sight, your support has been absolutely critical for
kids who live with hunger.
Thanks to you, we've been able to send more than $5
million to hard hit communities to help reach kids who depended on
school meals for their nutrition.
We have always believed the key to success is recognizing
that everyone has a unique strength to share. Even amidst all the
anxiety, the illness, and the disruption, we see people like you
rising up. You are a valued part of a beautiful uprising, one of
thousands of heroes pitching in to make sure the most vulnerable among
us are not lost in the chaos.
Here are some examples of some of the people who make our
hearts sing:
* Hunger Heroes. School nutritionists, cafeteria workers, and so
many others are on the front lines in towns across America. They
are risking their lives by rising before dawn, preparing
grab-and-go meals and meal bundles, and helping deliver them to
kids in need. And all the while respecting social distancing

* Champions. TV personality and author Rachael Ray is also using
her media visibility to promote awareness and giving to No Kid
Hungry and other causes. You can see Rachael on MSNBC here.

* Amazing Partners. A-list actresses Amy Adams and Jennifer Garner
have joined with No Kid Hungry and Save the Children to raise
money on Instagram for kids who live with hunger. The campaign,
#SAVEWITHSTORIES, features many celebrities reading favorite
children's books, from Horton Hears a Who to The Very
Hungry Caterpillar.

* Most of all, YOU! Every donor is a key part of the 'bucket
brigade' now in place to get food to kids who live with
hunger. And you're helping put us one step closer to
ending childhood hunger in America once and for all.
