South Florida is one of the most expensive places to live in America — and with an ongoing property insurance crisis, shortage of affordable housing, and inflation, it’s only gotten more expensive.

But instead of coming up with solutions to lower costs for Floridians, my opponent voted for a bill that would BAN local governments from mandating wages above the statewide minimum for subcontracted workers and construction employees.

Yes, you read that right — my opponent voted to override local control and cut the pay of workers.

We’re tired of politicians in Tallahassee coming up with ways to preempt local residents. We need a leader who will protect local control — that’s why I’m running. 

As your next State Representative, I will advocate for local control, champion measures to address the property insurance crisis and cost of living crisis, and make sure folks are being paid a living wage.
