Dear Friend, You may have already heard that for the third year in a row, I've taken on the challenge of running a marathon barefoot in support of PETA. The Boston Marathon was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but that hasn't stopped me from pushing toward my goal of raising $20,000 for PETA. I just learned that PETA is answering an overwhelming number of requests for dog and cat food from impoverished North Carolina and Virginia families. The pandemic is leaving some barely able to feed and care for their beloved animal companions. Today, we have the opportunity to be heroes to hungry dogs and cats. Please join me by donating $5 or more today. Every $5 you give can feed a dog for a week. I'm running barefoot because animals are suffering, and in times of crisis, I'm so thankful that PETA's fieldworkers are still on the job, actively helping animals 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Thank you for showing your own gratitude for their work by helping dogs and cats today. |
