Michael's cousin, Judge Harold Boulware, litigated the Briggs v. Elliott school segregation case in South Carolina, and he served on the legal team that won Brown v. Board of Education .
Last Friday, on the 70th anniversary of that landmark decision [[link removed]] , Michael recommitted himself to helping ensure equality and opportunity for all across the Lowcountry.

Today, Scott Harriford — one of the smartest minds in South Carolina politics — endorsed our campaign for Congress!
Michael is happy to have earned his support in the race for SC-01.

He believes this district deserves a leader who will defend women's reproductive freedom, invest in our children's education, and strengthen the economy for working families.
