## **House Dems Vote Against “Detain and Deport Illegals Who Assault Cops Act”**

We all know Democrats love immigrants. We also know they aren’t too fond of cops. Now, they’ve apparently combined the two tendencies to vote against a measure that would have helped to 1) protect law enforcement and 2) set a precedent of punishing illegal migrants who assault our law enforcement.

In fact, a total of 148 House Democrats recently voted against the Detain and Deport Illegal Aliens Who Assault Cops Act.

Now, luckily, that’s not nearly enough to block the measure from passing, especially not with a Republican majority, all of whom gladly voted in support of it. 54 Democrats also supported it.
