As a Multnomah County Commissioner, she has championed efforts to increase affordable housing, expanded mental health services, and worked to advance forward-thinking climate action policies—always with a laser focus on racial and economic justice, and lifting up working families. In Congress, she will join me in pushing for Medicare for All and a Green New Deal, and she will fight for our democracy and our civil rights.
