We are in the midst of a global health pandemic and a national health emergency. Yet, shockingly, health care workers throughout our country don’t have what they need to keep themselves safe. And if our doctors and nurses aren’t safe, no one is.

The failings are widespread. Nurses need personal protective equipment (PPE), education, and clear communication from their employers. They need more isolation rooms so they can safely provide care for COVID-19 patients.
